Media Advisory – Taxpayers spend over $1 billion in information technology efforts in state government, committee plans to review issue during Wednesday hearing

The Senate Communications and Technology Committee will hold its second public hearing on a proposal that would strengthen and streamline state information technology (IT) services.

Wednesday morning’s hearing will feature state officials to review current practices when it comes to IT and cybersecurity measures within various departments and agencies.
