*SB 1290 – Bill Summary (Vulakovich) would enact the Kelsey Smith Act – requiring wireless providers to “ping” a potential victim’s cell phone at the request of law enforcement officials to help locate the missing person when there is sufficient information to believe there is a risk or threat of death or serious physical harm

*Amendment 06435 defines “Written Form”;” references the Wire Tap Act; and removes unnecessary language under the “Immunity” Clause.

*SR 325 (Vulakovich) would designate May 7th as “Pennsylvania Health Care Information Technology Awareness Day.” On Wednesday, April 2nd, the Senate Communications & Technology Committee will hold a meeting at 9:30 a.m. in Room 461 to consider:
